As part of the Royal Rehab Group, you’ll be backed by one of Australia’s most respected not-for-profits, with over 125 years of experience delivering life-changing disability and rehabilitations services. This means you’ll have the stability, resources, and support to grow your career and make a real impact in people’s lives.

Responsibilities

Breakthru is proud to be selected by the Department of Social Services to deliver the new Inclusive Employment Australia (IEA) program across key regions in New South Wales and Queensland. This means we’ll be supporting more people than ever to access meaningful employment and build lasting careers — and we’re growing our team to help make it happen.
Leading the team across the North Brisbane Employment Service Area (ESA), as Service Manager you’ll provide strategic leadership across your region, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, inclusive employment services. You’ll lead a performance-driven team, oversee budgets and reporting, and foster a culture of integrity, empathy, and accountability. A key part of your role is building strong networks with employers, community partners, and stakeholders to expand opportunities for people with diverse abilities. With your vision and leadership, you’ll create pathways that empower both clients and your team to thrive.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead improvements to the customer and employer experience, ensuring quality, person-centred service delivery.
  • Drive team performance to exceed both quality and performance targets.
  • Manage service area financial performance, meeting revenue and margin targets.
  • Build a high-performing, enterprising workforce through coaching and leadership.
  • Work closely with the Performance Manager to use local data and insights to guide decision-making and improve outcomes.
  • Strengthen partnerships with local agencies, referral sources, and community stakeholders.
  • Ensure the ongoing development of your team to build a deeper understanding of best practice when working with people with disability, injury, or health conditions.
  • Ensure compliance and exceed internal and external performance benchmarks
  • Champion Breakthru’s values of inclusion, empowerment, and person-centred practice.
