Description General Description: Service Advisor will assist in the direct supervision and coordination of the activities of all Commercial, Retail, and OTR technicians. Duties Include: Ensure paperwork is prepared for technicians immediately at the beginning of the shift to ensure proper roll times. Ensure all paperwork is properly filled out, updated, completed, and closed according to Best-One and customer standards; mileage, hours, unit #, PO, etc. Answer phones and greet and assist customers in a respectful and timely manner. Monitor technician’s workflow and proper maintaining of tools and equipment. Inventory and requisition of parts and shop supplies. Roll or unroll call forwarding at the beginning and end of each shift. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Service Advisor Requirements: Must perform duties and responsibilities in a safe manner. Ability to consistently follow store policies and procedures. Ability to read and complete instructions. The ability to work in a fast-paced customer service-oriented environment. Team-Player: Works well as a member of a group. Detail Oriented: Capable of carrying out a given task with all details necessary to get the task done well. Minimum Job Requirements: Authorized to work in the USA and at least 18 years of age. Valid driver’s license with a safe driving history. High school diploma or GED is preferred. Some distribution supply experience preferred. An eagerness to learn and excel with a perpetually positive attitude. Commitment to service beyond the expectations of our customers. Able to perform physically demanding tasks in varying weather conditions. Physical Demands / Work Environment: Lifting: Frequent lifting over 50 pounds from ground to chest high. Occasional squatting, bending, and twisting. Standing for extended periods of time. Environment: Work in an environment that is not climate controlled. Temperatures range from extremely hot to extremely cold, depending on the season. Vision (Near, distance, Color, Peripheral, Depth Perception). Sense of sound (Ringing telephones, alarms, horns, and motorized equipment). PPE: Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) (Safety Glasses, gloves, footwear).
