We are currently recruiting for a Service Manager to join our client’s dealership in the Scarborough area. Our client is a well-established company with a nationwide presence across the UK. They are seeking a dedicated Service Manager to oversee their workshop facility in Scarborough. This pivotal role combines leadership, operational management, and customer service excellence.

SERVICE MANAGER REQUIREMENTS:

  • You will have experience working in a main dealer, including dealing directly with customers in a service role, and ideally workshop control.
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Flexible approach to learning all sides of the business, with the willingness to progress.
  • Full clean driving licence

Responsibilities
  • Provide day to day guidance and direction to a team of Service Advisors
  • Ensure the highest level of customer care and satisfaction are delivered at all times
  • Identify areas of improvement for the service reception department to improve performance and customer satisfaction
  • Plan ahead and manage time effectively to ensure all tasks are achieved
  • Develop and maintain professional working relationships with all customers, dealership colleagues, suppliers and external representatives
