Provide clear leadership and direction to the service department, fostering a "Safety First" culture and building strong teamwork. Partner with HR to manage staffing, workforce development, and training for your technicians. Drive employee satisfaction and engagement, using metrics and surveys to develop action plans for improvement. Set the standard for customer satisfaction by acting as the primary point of contact for service needs. Analyze customer requests, provide accurate cost quotes, and prepare detailed work orders. Plan and schedule all work activities for technicians, monitoring progress to ensure commitments are met on time and on budget. Serve as the technical expert for your team, providing decision-making support to help technicians analyze and resolve complex service problems. Prepare and manage customer invoicing for all work performed. Take full responsibility for the department's financial performance, including managing budgets and capital expenditures. Communicate and support Quinn’s organizational goals, collaborating with other departments to improve overall company performance. Promote seamless product support to the customer, helping to achieve Quinn's and Caterpillar's performance targets. Qualifications What You Will Bring: 7-10 years of experience in the heavy equipment, power generation, or a related industry. Proven experience in a supervisory or management role. Strong general mechanical service abilities and a solid understanding of diesel and natural gas engines or power systems. Excellent computer skills, strong financial literacy, and outstanding communication abilities. A commitment to Integrity, Teamwork, Respect, Quality, and Customer Service. Must be willing to visit customers and suppliers and be able to work occasional weekends.
