Together with the Restaurant Manager, you'll ensure your team has everything a strong team needs. Working closely with the concept creator NENI, the restaurant is marketed as an independent concept, offering eclectic, Balagan-style dishes and specifically targeting the local neighborhood. What does your workday look like…

• You handle the scheduling, lead the team, and support your colleagues in their development in collaboration with the restaurant manager.
• You ensure that our guests are not only full, but also happy and satisfied.
• You ensure accurate billing and smooth administrative processes.
• You will assist with budget preparation and manage the restaurant accordingly in an entrepreneurial manner.
• You are a competent and open-minded contact person and sparring partner for our external concept partner.
• You support your colleagues with an infectious smile when all the guests order at once. You also maintain composure even during spontaneous changes of plan.

• You have gained initial leadership experience in a similar role and speak fluent English.
• You can inspire your colleagues just as easily as your guests. Furthermore, you have experience in service organization and are skilled at creating work schedules.

Your tasks with us

• Responsibility for a smooth service process in our company restaurant
• Professional leadership and deployment planning of the service team
• Ensuring professional guest service and a warm welcome
• Organization and operational support of events and conferences, including the provision of drinks and food.
• Quality and product presentation according to high gastronomic standards
• Planning, control and billing within the area of ​​responsibility
• Compliance with legal and internal hygiene and quality guidelines
• Close collaboration with the kitchen, event coordination and other internal interfaces

They manage the service team in day-to-day operations as well as at special events in a company restaurant in Berlin-Mitte.

This will impress us

• Completed training in the hotel or catering industry (e.g., hotel specialist, restaurant specialist)
• Several years of professional experience in the service sector as well as initial management experience
• Strong service orientation and a confident demeanor
• High flexibility and organizational skills, especially in the event and conference business
• Thoroughness, accuracy and a sense of responsibility in planning, management and billing
• Excellent communication skills and enjoyment of working in a team.
• Fluent German skills (at least C1 level) and good English skills
• Confident use of common PC applications
• Driving licence is an advantage
