Tri-State Trailer Sales is seeking a Service Department Manager to join our team in Lancaster, PA!
Tri-State Trailer Sales is a leading provider in the transportation industry, with four full-service dealerships across Pittsburgh, Lancaster, Hubbard, and Cincinnati. We specialize in a variety of semi-trailers, including petroleum and liquid commodity tanks, and are committed to meeting the needs of the transportation industry through quality service and extensive parts availability.
Prior supervisor/supervisory/management experience in the transportation/heavy equipment field OR automotive field with a focus on maintenance is mandatory.

• Previous experience in service and repair management
• Outstanding customer service skills
• Proficient computer skills
• Organized and detail oriented
• Ability to prioritize and multitask managing daily work activities of semi-trailer mechanics and support staff
• Positive and professional demeanor with team-player winning attitude
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Motivate and manage the service department
• Write estimates for customers
• Managing mechanics and their work in progress
• Handle customer inquiries and keep them informed on their repairs
• Provide information about the products and services
• Troubleshoot and resolve product issues and concerns
• Document and update customer records based on interactions
• Develop and maintain a knowledge base of the evolving products and services
