Overview Fountain Tire Whitecourt is searching for a friendly, knowledgeable, and experienced Service Manager to manage the operations of the service department to drive productivity, quality assurance and to promote a high level of customer satisfaction. As a Service Manager, your duties will include: Overseeing and managing mechanical and tire services Setting quality standards and maintaining the quality of all shop activities Creating work orders and arranging bookings and communicating them to the technicians Provide service quotes and receive customer authorization for work to be performed on vehicles, finalize sales, and complete customer follow up Recommend tire service, specialty tire service, wheel and mechanical service to customers Ensuring completion of shop maintenance and repair work Addressing customer complaints and inquiries in a courteous, professional manner Advising technicians of work that must be completed Ensuring technicians compliance with company standards regarding quality, safety, and customer service Managing the morale in the shop by setting and demonstrating a strong business ethic for dealing with employees, suppliers and customers Maintaining the cleanliness of the shop Our ideal candidate has/is: 5+ years of automotive industry experience Advanced Knowledge of mechanical services is required Commercial vehicle inspection program and out of province inspection certifications Effective leadership skills, with a strong focus on operations and business processes High level of integrity and accountability A customer service focus Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with team members and customers Strong communication, and interpersonal skills Continuously looking to learn and use new skills and the demonstrated ability to recognize opportunities for improvements Flexible, patient, and calm when working with tight schedules Interested and qualified?
