About the Job Join Allianz as a Service Manager to coordinate together with the Service Owner our dynamic IT Investment Treasury and Compliance teams, which are responsible for the evolution and management of IT systems supporting finance business on investments and treasury and Compliance/AML processing. Our teams plays a crucial role in continuously enhancing system functionalities to meet new business needs, managing systems in production, and defining and implementing the technological roadmap for platform evolution. Our platforms are based on Java and Mainframe technologies, composed of both components deployed in the cloud and on-premises. We are on a trajectory to progressively transition from Mainframe to Java technology and complete the migration to cloud solutions. In this context, we are seeking a Service Manager with proven experience in maintaining/evolving complex service solutions and implementing transformation projects. What you do Take operational responsibility on behalf of the Service Owner to manage Business Services and IT Service Offerings (ITSO), ensuring stable and efficient operations. Ensure the coordination, tracking, and handover of services according to the service description and SLAs, including both internal and outsourced operations. Strive for continuous service improvement in line with Allianz Technology's strategic framework, using an end-to-end customer perspective to set and drive the future roadmap for the managed portfolio. Steer service providers on a regular basis to ensure balanced service delivery according to service lifecycle management, service catalogue, and contract management. Develop cost-effective IT services that contribute to the overall Allianz Technology service portfolio, including budget and cost-effective planning and design. Participate in the definition of security standards, their monitoring, and compliance with IT standards and processes. Engage in customer relationship management and supplier/provider management, collaborating with different teams, departments, and branches. Maintain the service master data in the Service Catalog Information Management (SIM), including self-service capabilities. Supervise or manage assigned teams according to Allianz leadership values and People Attributes, prioritizes and delegates tasks, ensures compliance with health and safety standards, communicates actively, and supports employees in their professional and personal development. What you bring Innovative Solutions to address existing challenges, such as technological transitions or process optimizations. Base knowledge of Java-based architectures, microservices, and cloud-based solutions. Experience in transitioning from Mainframe environments would be a plus. Some familiarity with Mainframe solutions, possibly contributing to the definition of smooth technological evolution steps. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, to drive the integration of diverse technological components. Degree in IT, Engineering or other technical/economical with at least 5 years of relevant experience in a service management role.
