This position is located in Bangalore, in our newly built GBS Hub. Shift starts at 12:30 IST during summer and 1:30 IST during winter time. Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow Developer – Core Platform to join our dynamic team. This role is instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining the core platform and enterprise applications within ServiceNow, ensuring scalability, automation, and best practices across ITAM, ITOM, ITSM, ITBM, CSM, and GRC. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in ServiceNow development, a deep understanding of platform governance, and the ability to optimize business processes through automation and standardization. Key Responsibilities: Develop and enhance ServiceNow’s core platform components, including system tables, ACLs, system policies, and workflows. Collaborate with stakeholders (business leaders, process owners, and IT teams) to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. Design and implement automation solutions to optimize workflows and reduce manual processes. Support ServiceNow modules (ITAM, ITOM, ITSM, ITBM, CSM, GRC) by developing scalable configurations and solutions. Conduct technical reviews, including code reviews, to ensure best practices, performance optimization, and maintainability. Lead and facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by gathering feedback and ensuring successful deployments. Maintain platform stability by managing upgrades, patches, clones, and system health monitoring. Ensure data integrity and security within the platform through proper governance and access control mechanisms. Serve as a bridge between IT and business teams, ensuring seamless communication and alignment of objectives. Stay updated on ServiceNow best practices and industry trends to continuously improve platform efficiency. Qualifications & Skills: 4+ years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development and administration. Certified ServiceNow Administrator (CSA) certification is required. Experience in scripting (JavaScript, Glide APIs), UI policies, business rules, workflows, and integrations (REST, SOAP). Familiarity with ITAM, ITOM, ITSM, ITBM, CSM, and GRC modules is a plus. Proficiency in Agile development methodologies and SDLC best practices. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
