Description
Position Summary The Service Operations Assistant supports store leadership by helping coordinate front‑end and service operations to ensure excellent customer experiences, efficient workflow, and compliance with company standards. This role assists with daily execution, associate support, and operational follow‑through while reinforcing service, safety, and accuracy across the store. Key Responsibilities * Support daily service operations including front‑end flow, customer service activities, and store readiness * Assist store and department leadership with execution of service programs, initiatives, and operational priorities * Help monitor customer traffic and support staffing or task adjustments to maintain service levels * Ensure service areas are clean, organized, and operating according to company standards * Assist with resolving customer questions, complaints, and service recovery situations * Support operational consistency across departments by following up on priorities and assignments * Help ensure adherence to cash handling, safety, and loss prevention practices * Serve as a point of support during peak business periods or leadership coverage needs Associate Support & Leadership * Lead by example and promote a positive, customer‑focused environment * Support onboarding and training of new associates as assigned * Reinforce expectations for service, reliability, and operational execution * Communicate clearly with associates and leadership to ensure alignment Operational & Compliance Focus * Follow all company policies, procedures, and service standards * Support completion of required documentation, reports, and task follow‑ups * Promote safety awareness and compliance throughout service areas Qualifications * Previous retail, service, or operational experience preferred * Strong customer service and interpersonal skills * Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast‑paced environment * Effective communication and organizational skills * Problem‑solving mindset with attention to detail Physical & Scheduling Requirements * Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the store for extended periods * Ability to assist with light lifting or pushing carts as needed * Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays Pay Transparency: Starting rates will be no less than the local minimum wage and may vary based on things like location, experience, qualifications, and the terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement. Candidates with unique qualifications may be considered for compensation above this range. Dependent on length of service, hours worked, any applicable collective bargaining agreement and/or Company policy, benefits may include medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance, sick pay*, PTO/Vacation pay*, paid holidays*, bereavement pay and retirement benefits (pension and/or 401(k) eligibility).  Associates in this position may be eligible for a quarterly bonus, subject to Company bonus plans. Applications are accepted on an on-going basis.   *For roles in Washington State: Sick pay and PTO/Vacation pay are accrued based on hours worked and paid holidays are issued at 7-9 days annually.
