JOB SUMMARY:

The Service Operations Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring the day-to-day field and office operations run smoothly for our lawn care and snow removal services. This individual is responsible for scheduling, communicating with crew members and customers, monitoring job progress, managing equipment logistics, and supporting both seasonal operations with a strong focus on efficiency, safety, and client satisfaction.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous experience in lawn care, snow removal, landscaping, or a related field preferred
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, seasonal environment with early morning and on-call availability during snow season
  • Proficiency with GPS routing and basic computer applications
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Degree in operations or supply chain management preferred.
Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and maintain daily work schedules for lawn care and snow removal crews
  • Dispatch crews to residential and commercial properties based on priority, route, and weather conditions
  • Track job completion, crew progress, and resolve delays or issues in the field
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with team members and clients regarding service updates, delays, or concerns
  • Maintain records of job details, time logs, equipment usage, and material inventory
  • Assist in onboarding, training, and coordinating seasonal workers
  • Ensure all equipment is accounted for, maintained, and assigned properly each day
  • Monitor weather reports and assist in planning and preparation for snow events
  • Support customer service needs by responding to inquiries, complaints, and service requests promptly
  • Collaborate with management to identify operational improvements and support overall business goals
  • Help with any special projects needed
