Description Overview The Service & Parts Job Code Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of repair, service, and parts operations for heavy equipment by creating, maintaining, and managing labor and parts job codes. This role ensures that job codes reflect current service procedures, parts catalogs, pricing, and labor standards to support work order processing, cost estimation, and operational consistency across the organization. This position focuses on Liebherr and Link-Belt, requiring a deep understanding of heavy machinery repair processes and manufacturer service documentation. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Automotive, Diesel or Heavy Equipment Technology and related field experience preferred. 2+ years of experience in service or technical administration, preferably in heavy equipment service operations, job coding, parts coordination or technical administration. Strong knowledge of repair order processes, service documentation, and parts inventory systems. Proficient in data entry and management within service or dealer management systems (e.g., CDK and Salesforce). Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to interpret service manuals, labor time guides, and technical bulletins. Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Automotive, Diesel or Heavy Equipment Technology or other technical service background. Experience with manufacturer flat-rate guides or service pricing tools. Familiarity with warranty administration and service contract requirements. Requirements Develop and maintain standardized job codes for heavy equipment repair, service, and parts-related tasks, ensuring alignment with manufacturer guidelines and internal service procedures. Collaborate with service technicians, parts specialists, and managers to capture accurate job descriptions, time standards, and parts requirements specific to heavy machinery. Update job codes regularly to reflect new models, services, warranty requirements, and pricing changes. Support the setup and maintenance of flat-rate labor times and bundled service packages within the job code structure. Audit job code usage to identify inconsistencies, reduce redundancy, and improve efficiency in repair order processing. Work closely with ERP, DMS (Dealer Management System), or service software teams to ensure codes are correctly integrated and functional. Provide training and documentation for Product Support Sales Reps, Service Advisors, Technicians, and Parts personnel on job code use and updates. Assist with data analysis for service performance, parts utilization, and profitability reporting. Other duties as assigned.
