Service Parts Planner - Submarines

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

· Responsible for the generation of datasets to enable the review of
component demands in meeting the programme contract requirements.
· Review and assess customer inventory data with a view to cascade
demand and ensure delivery plans meet service and replenishment
time frames.
· Review customer demands/supply metrics and take appropriate action to
ensure the customer requirements are justified and being met.
· Support the Programme Manager and Technical Specialists as
appropriate, with the commitment acceptance of component level
requirement profiles with new and repair part supply chains

  • You will have a good in-depth working knowledge of Excel VBA programming.
  • You will have material forecasting and supply experience, showing an understanding of the project lifecycle, risk management, cost management.
  • You will have a good understanding of operations and procurement activities - prior submarines knowledge is not essential.
  • The role will involve dealing with internal and external stakeholders at all levels and excellent communication skills are therefore a prerequisite
