Our products are in use across all forms of entertainment from the largest of world tours to the smallest of nightclubs. We build products which inspire creativity and enable lighting designers to create the shows you will have seen at festivals, concerts & on TV. We produce market leading lighting control hardware and software solutions and develop lighting networking hardware for permanent and temporary applications.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

• Experience with electronic equipment repair
• Soldering skills and experience with PCB level rework.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
• Organised and able to prioritise workload and work to deadlines.

DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE:

• Comfortable with reading Schematics and fault finding of electronic circuits.
• Experience with rework of IC’s and other small Microcontrollers.
• Working with stage lighting and lighting control products.
• Experience with stock control / ERP systems.
• Experience with computer repairs or similar.

We are seeking a Service & Parts Technician to join our Customer Support team, the role is focused on service and repair of ChamSys product, but also includes looking after our inventory of service spare parts.
Based in our Southampton offices, the role is a varied role with no two days the same!

Main Responsibilities:

• Servicing and repair of ChamSys products included PCB level rework.
• Fault finding and reporting of customer repairs.
• Programming and testing parts.
• Assembly, programming and testing of spare parts.
• Preparation and testing of demo kit for loans and exhibitions.
• Parts stock checks as required.
