The American University in the Emirates is searching for Service Personnel who is responsible for assisting the department in performing service duties, attending to visitors, department and/or office staff, performing any combination of clerical duties.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1 – 3 years’ relevant field experience
• Ability to work under pressure, flexible with work timings and work different shifts.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Ensures that the campus and corridors are always kept clean and tidy.
• Empties trash, recyclables, and waste, in accordance with maintenance company schedule
• Dusts light fittings and high places such as ceilings using ladders.
• Cleans and polishes furniture in office space.
• Moves furniture and equipment for either period cleaning or office reallocation
• Checks supplies and equipment functioning, and notifies the store keeper or manager on low supply levels in pantry, equipment malfunction, and building maintenance issues noted during cleaning.
• Arranges sufficient supply of refreshments for events and activities. Ensures that the stock is being replaced in the pantry.
• Other duties or projects as assigned as appropriate to rank and departmental mission..
• Perform any duties as assigned by the superiors
