Description
Description Redwood City, CA • Full-Time • $25–$30/hr We started with one dealership in 2014. Today we run 50+ locations across five states and Automotive News consistently ranks us as one of the fastest-growing dealer groups in the country. Reputation.com puts us top 5 in North America. We’re not slowing down. Here’s the thing about us: we’re a hospitality company that happens to sell cars. Most dealerships make the experience miserable. We’re building the version that doesn’t. Think Ritz-Carlton. Think Wynn Las Vegas. Now imagine that standard applied to a Land Rover dealership in Redwood City. That’s what we’re doing. And we need people who want to be part of it. LET’S BE REAL ABOUT THIS ROLE This isn’t a glamorous job title. But here’s what it is: it’s your foot in the door of a $150,000-per-vehicle luxury brand — and a company that will absolutely promote you if you show up, work hard, and give a damn. You’ll be moving cars, keeping the service lane running, and making sure every vehicle that leaves our shop looks better than it arrived. The guests driving these vehicles have high expectations and plenty of options. When everything runs smoothly, that’s you. No automotive experience? Good. We’re not hiring a mechanic. We’re hiring someone with hustle, pride, and a hospitality instinct. The rest we can teach. WHAT YOU’LL DO • Return every vehicle in better condition than it arrived. That’s the non-negotiable. • Move and stage vehicles in the service lane and lot — quickly and carefully • Keep the service environment spotless and guest-ready at all times • Shuttle guests to and from the dealership — this is a guest interaction, treat it like one • Support service advisors and technicians so nothing slows down • Handle vehicle check-in and check-out documentation accurately • Show up every day looking and acting like someone who belongs at a luxury brand WHAT YOU BRING Required • Valid driver’s license with a clean record. This is the job. No license, no role. • Ability to drive automatic and manual transmission vehicles • You show up on time, every time. The whole operation depends on it. • You treat other people’s property with more care than your own • You move with urgency — not because someone’s watching, but because that’s who you are A Plus • Experience in hospitality, valet, retail, or anything guest-facing • Comfortable in a fast-moving, high-volume environment COMPENSATION & BENEFITS • $25–$30 per hour • Medical, dental, and vision insurance • 401(k) • Paid time off and holidays • Employee vehicle purchase and service discounts • Pet insurance • Mental health program and benefits WHERE THIS TAKES YOU Service Porter is not the destination — it’s the on-ramp. Swickard promotes from within. People in this role have moved into Service Advisor, Parts Specialist, Sales, and beyond. We’re one of the fastest-growing dealer groups in the country. There is room to grow here. But you have to want it. If you’re looking for a place to clock in and coast — this isn’t it. If you’re looking for a place to start something real — keep reading and apply.
