As a Service Product Manager (f/m/d) for GEA, you will play a crucial role in amplifying our market position and establishing our brand as a leading player in the Carbon Capture industry. Your primary objectives will include to develop and manage service offerings for both existing products and new products to be launched. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, conduct market research, and leverage customer insights to create and enhance service solutions that meet the needs of our target audience. This role requires a strategic mindset, strong project management skills, and the ability to drive initiatives from idea to implementation. Your responsibilities

Bring your extraordinary skills, your creative and collaborative mindset and join a passionate team with a hands-on mentality in an established company. You will develop and promote Service products in combination with groundbreaking technologies in a sector that is projected to grow for several decades, and your contribution will have a direct and positive impact on future generations:

  • You will plan and execute the Service product strategy including the development and articulation of a clear service product vision and strategy aligned with overall business objectives
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure service offerings complement and enhance existing and upcoming product lines
  • Gather and analyze customer feedback to understand their needs, pain points, and expectations related to service offerings.
  • Lead the ideation, design, and development of service offerings for existing and new products.
  • Define service features, specifications, and pricing strategies in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
  • Develop comprehensive service contracts outlining terms, conditions, and deliverables.
  • Design and handle spare parts packages, upgrades, and preventive maintenance offers to enhance overall service value.
  • Work closely with Carbon Capture product development, marketing, sales, and customer support teams to ensure seamless integration of service offerings.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to create effective sales tools and collateral for service products.

Your profile and qualifications:

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, mechanical or process engineering or a related field; MBA is a plus.
  • Proven experience in product management, with a focus on service offerings.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Technology understanding.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills.

Preferred skills

  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
  • Experience in B2B or B2C product management.
  • Knowledge of relevant industry trends and emerging technologies.
  • Ideally the right candidate comes with knowledge on the carbon capture current developments and future strategies from the market AND with intimacy of Service offerings, but we are seeking for the right mindset to be a great a product manager that works well in a development team with a startup and agile mindset to create fast and scalable outcomes.
