Overview Position: Third Party Management – Service Provider Risk Specialist Location: U.S. Remote Compensation: $21.63 - $26.44, DOE Hours: Must be able to work 9am - 5pm PST JOB SUMMARY: The New American Funding (“NAF”) Third Party Management (TPM) team is responsible for the governance and oversight of NAF’s third vendor and service provider relationships. The Service Provider Risk Specialist is responsible for completing all required risk checks of attorneys, title companies, escrow companies and mobile notaries participating in residential mortgage loan closings. Responsibilities Review and verify current state licensing for each service provider, perform risk checks, review submitted legal questionnaires and other applicable documents. Make decision to issue approval or escalate to legal and management. Provide application technical support to service providers that need assistance with completing applications. Review loan documents such as wiring instructions, closing protection letters, title commitments and closing disclosures that are uploaded to loan files to ensure service provider accounts match application information and ensure that data is correctly entered in each applicable field before approving. Review appraiser and appraisal management company information entered in Encompass on occasion to ensure accuracy and completeness, clear appraisal alerts when necessary. Qualifications Mortgage industry experience preferred Excellent oral and written communication skills required Outstanding organizational skills with a strong attention to detail and adherence to deadlines Must be computer literate with an advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel Able to work independently and multi-task Efficient, able to prioritize work, and sense of urgency Problem solving by effectively researching and analyzing issues while demonstrating good judgment Note: This position may not be limited to the functions and requirements outlined above, now or in the future.
