Responsibilities
  • As the receptionist at Country Hills Volkswagen you are the Manager of First Impressions. As the first point of contact for clients, you require exceptional customer service skills and professional phone etiquette. You will greet and assist clients when they first arrive at the dealership.
  • Responsible for answering and directing all incoming phone calls in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Provides basic information about the dealership and the Dilawri Group in order to answer inquiries and to refer customers to the appropriate individual or department.
  • Collect payment from customers and issue receipts for goods and services
  • Prepare and process invoices and record amounts received
  • Provide cash refunds or issue credit memoranda to customers for returned goods, as authorized by manager
  • Record/balance totals shown on cash register tape or computer records; ensure invoice amounts and payment methods correspond; verify cash on hand to float
  • Operate credit card machines; verify balances at end of day and advise manager immediately of any cash shortages
  • Perform clerical duties such as arranging for couriers and proofreading, and assist with other administrative departments as necessary
