ABOUT HINKLEY POINT C / MEH ALLIANCE

The first new nuclear power station to be built in the UK in over 20 years; Hinkley Point C in Somerset will provide low-carbon electricity for around 6 million homes, create thousands of jobs and bring lasting benefits to the UK economy.
Marking a significant milestone in the revitalisation of our nuclear power industry, Hinkley Point C will make a major contribution to the UKs move to reduce carbon emissions. The electricity generated by its two EPR reactors will offset 9 million tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions a year, or 600 million tonnes over its 60-year lifespan.
What you’ll be doing

As a Service and Repair Co-ordinator, you will have the following responsibilities,

  • Compile and analyse stakeholder feedback to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to suit MEH Alliance Joint Venture requirements.
  • Ensure timely scheduling of service appointments, minimising downtime.
  • Monitor and report on the timely completion of service and repair tasks.
  • Maintain accurate logs of stakeholder interactions and service-related communications.
  • Updates and Notifications: Provide regular updates and notifications to stakeholders regarding the status of their service or repair.
  • Generate reports on the efficient allocation of resources, including technicians, equipment, and materials.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of technical support provided to technicians.
  • Document and report on customer follow-ups to address any post-service issues.
  • Generate reports on inventory levels (R&M team dedicated stores only), ensuring that parts and supplies are adequately stocked.
  • Monitor the timely fulfilment of parts and supplies orders.
  • Provide reports on compliance with project and industry regulations and company safety procedures.
  • Generate reports on performance metrics such as response time, completion time.
  • Develop and implement plans for optimising service and repair coordination processes.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs for continuous improvement.
  • Provide reports on collaboration with other departments, ensuring seamless coordination of services.

Who we’re looking for

Do you have?

  • Previous experience in a service & repair co-ordination role
  • CCNSG or HSE MaPs Safety Passport
  • Ability to obtain a high-level security clearance.
