The Service and Repair Specialist for Leica Biosystems is responsible for coordinating engineer activities within the UK and Ireland with particular emphasis on Poland and therefore Polish Language is a significant requirement. Ordering parts and liaising with customers and various clerical tasks required for contractual and invoicing activity. Priority activity is dealing with breakdowns of equipment in the field, however assisting with planning the workload of our engineers would be occasionally called upon. Working to short deadlines and changing priorities and sharing information to keep everyone informed is not easy but is hugely rewarding. Working within a small team but with links to the wider European team, support is always available. Escalating issues via agreed processes offering support to customers and engineers when things go wrong internally and externally. This position is part of the TAC Team, located in Milton Keynes and will be office based. At Leica Biosystems, our vision is to advance cancer diagnostics and improve lives. You will be a part of the team in the EMEA region and report to the TAC Team Leader responsible for supporting a complex engineering team and high value customers. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Work closely with customers in English and Polish Language Report out against activities and performance against targets Support Sales Customer Care with installations – From instrument shipment confirmation to dispatching an Engineer Full control of instrument moves – From raising a notification to organizing the Engineer/courier etc Basic knowledge of instrument troubleshooting to support TAC Helpdesk Engineers (usage of cheat sheets) Support customers working against their own time pressures and demands in complex operating environments The essential requirements of the job include: Fluency in written and verbal English and Polish Language Ability to work to and achieve performance targets Utilise computer systems with comfort, communicating clearly and consistently Experience of dealing with customers in complicated service support environment Join our winning team today.
