  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic computer and email proficiency.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Certification in small engine, mechanical, or equipment repair.
  • Experience with construction or industrial equipment.
  • Bilingual in English/French or English/Spanish is an asset.
Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are looking for a dependable Service Technician to join our team. This role combines hands-on mechanical work with service coordination responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in small engine repair, welding, equipment servicing, and palletizing products for shipment, along with the organizational skills required to manage service requests and support departmental operations.
You will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing equipment both in-shop and at customer locations, palletizing products for outbound shipments, responding promptly to service inquiries, and overseeing day-to-day activities in the service department to ensure timely and effective resolutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Palletize products for shipment and assist the warehouse team as needed.
  • Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on a range of gas-powered and electric equipment (e.g., generators, power trowels, compactors, pressure washers, pallet jacks, etc.).
  • Perform basic welding as needed for equipment servicing.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues on-site or at customer locations.
  • Respond to emergency repair requests and scheduled service calls in a timely, professional manner.
  • Manage and prioritize service department requests via phone, email, and in-person.
  • Maintain clear records of repairs, service calls, and parts used.
  • Coordinate with other departments and update customers on service timelines and repair progress.
  • Ensure all repairs meet safety, quality, and performance standards.
  • Maintain the organization and workflow of the service department, including parts inventory and job scheduling.
