We are currently seeking a Service & Repair Technician to join our Aerospace team in our Gul Circle, Singapore office. Key Responsibilities: Inspection and Troubleshooting: Inspect and examine components for defects like leaks or cracks, troubleshoot mechanical/electrical issues, and determine the acceptance condition of parts prior to testing. Documentation and Certification: Prepare detailed workshop reports, review maintenance records, and document all work performed per approved manuals and regulatory standards. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all work meets the quality and safety standards specified in the relevant Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE) and regulatory requirements from authorities like the FAA, EASA, or CAAS. Quality Assurance: Perform final physical inspections and potentially perform the release of the Airworthiness Release Certificate (ARC) for specific ratings (e.g., B3, C7). Continuous Improvement: Initiate and implement continuous improvement activities to enhance productivity and quality. Perform 5S Ensures that work carried out meets the required quality as stated in the respective engine manuals and technical documents. Comply with company HSE rules and procedures. Key Experience & Capabilities: Education: Typically a technical certificate (e.g., NTC Aerospace Technology/Engineering) or diploma in aeronautical engineering is required. Experience: Prior experience (2-5 years preferred) in the aerospace industry, specifically with aero engines or APUs Technical Knowledge: Ability to read, interpret, and utilize engineering drawings, blueprints, maintenance manuals, and service bulletins. Proficiency in using precision-measuring instruments. Experience in troubleshooting and repairing Licenses/Certifications: Knowledge of, or certification in, EASA Part 66 Module 10 (Aviation Legislation) and experience with Part 145 regulations are highly desirable for certifying staff roles. Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, commitment to safety protocols, strong team player attributes, and good interpersonal communication skills.
