Position Overview Carolina Chemical Equipment is seeking a Service & Retail Sales Manager to lead daily operations across our service department and front counter sales. This role is responsible for supervising technicians, supporting customers, and driving sales performance while ensuring a high level of service and operational efficiency. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone with strong technical awareness, customer service skills, and the ability to manage both people and processes. Key Responsibilities: others may be assigned Supervise and support service technicians, including scheduling, training, and performance management Oversee front counter sales operations, ensuring excellent customer service and product knowledge Assist customers with equipment selection, troubleshooting, and service needs Coordinate service workflow to ensure timely and quality completion of repairs Monitor inventory levels and collaborate on ordering and stock management Drive retail sales growth through customer engagement and team coaching Ensure a safe, organized, and efficient work environment Partner with leadership on operational improvements and business goals Requirements Previous experience in service management, retail management, or a related field Strong leadership and team development skills Technical aptitude (experience with pressure washers, cleaning equipment, or similar is a plus) Customer-focused mindset with strong communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Basic computer skills and experience with POS or inventory systems preferred Preferred Experience: Background in equipment service, mechanical repair, or industrial/chemical distribution Experience supervising technicians or service teams Retail or counter sales experience in a technical environment Compensation & Benefits: Competitive salary based on experience Benefits package (health, dental, vision, 401K w/ discretionary employer match, etc.) Paid time off and holidays Why Join Carolina Chemical Equipment?
