Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

In your function as Sales Engineer in the field of Medium and Low Voltage Service you will be responsible for the acquisition of service projects in the field of power transmission and distribution. The work model for the role is: remote in Eastern Germany for the regions of Berlin, Brandenburg, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Eastern Saxony (Görlitz, Bautzen, Dresden, Meißen) and from Eastern Holstein to Lauenburg (#LI-Remote)

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Acquiring new customers and maintaining contact with existing customers
  • Advising and supporting your customers in all service matters and determining the potential for additional service business
  • Creation of solution concepts for the conversion and modernization of existing switchgear and components
  • Continuous monitoring and analysis of the market and competitive situation
  • Continuous monitoring of offers and support of the associated contract negotiations
  • Supporting and advising your colleagues in project planning and execution

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE

  • Degree in electrical engineering with a focus on power engineering, alternatively technician or master craftsman in the field of electrical engineering
  • Several years of professional experience in sales or a sales-related position, ideally in the area of service
  • Knowledge of Salesforce is an advantage
  • Fluent German and good English skills
  • High customer and market orientation, negotiation skills and strong communication skills
  • High willingness to travel up to 85%
