JOB SUMMARY: The Fire and Low Voltage Service Sales Representative is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, maintaining relationships with existing clients, and providing exceptional customer service in the Fire and Life Safety industry. The role involves the sales and marketing of fire alarm systems, low voltage systems, and associated services. The representative will be required to create and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets and meet company objectives.   Supervisory Responsibilities: * None.   Essential Job Functions: * Identifies and establishes contact with potential customers in the Fire and Low Voltage industry. * Develops and executes sales strategies to meet or exceed assigned sales targets. * Presents and demonstrates company products and services to potential clients. * Prepares and submits quotes and proposals to prospective customers. * Maintains detailed knowledge of the company's products and services. * Attends industry events, trade shows, and seminars to generate new leads. * Manages and maintains relationships with existing clients, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty. * Collaborates with the technical team to ensure customer needs are met. * Keep abreast with latest developments in fire safety, low voltage services, and market trends. * Produces ideas for promotional events or activities and assists with organizing them efficiently. * Provides recommendations to strategically enhance service sales performance and business opportunities. * Performs other duties as assigned.   Compliance: * Operates with the highest level of conduct, integrity, and confidentiality. * Adheres to company policies and procedures.   Skills & Abilities:        * Strong understanding of fire alarm systems, low voltage systems, and related products and services. * Self-motivated with a results-driven approach. * Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Ability to manage budgets, expenses, and negotiate with vendors and suppliers. * Proficient in CRM software, Microsoft suite or similar programs. * Ability to build relationships and interact positively with employees, management staff and customers. * Strong negotiation and selling skills. * Ability to identify issues, address them and provide effective solutions. * Skills and ability to handle multiple tasks at once. * Ability to maintain compliant with local, state, and federal regulations. * Ability to adapt to changes and handle them with professionalism. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Ability to maintain confidentiality of conversations, data records, files, and other vital information. * Ability to work independently and in a team to meet deadlines. * Careful planning, multitasking, and time management skills are critical. * Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in recordkeeping.   Education & Certifications: * Bachelor’s degree is sales and marketing or related field preferred. * Valid driver license and a clean driving record.    Experience: * Minimum three years of experience in a similar sales role within the Fire and Life Safety industry or Low Voltage sector.    Physical Requirements: * Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. * Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
