About the Job: The purpose of this role is to drive sustainable service sales growth through customers across Brewery, Edible Oil, Prepared Foods & Beverages, Pharmaceutical and other Food Process Industries. The position will be responsible for developing and executing service business opportunities for niche and customized equipment supplied through the Projects Engineering & Supply (PES) organization, including High-Speed Separators (HSS), Modules, Systems, Automation & Controls (EIA), Panels and related process equipment. Working closely with Capital Sales, Engineering & Supply, Service Operations and Global Product Experts, the incumbent will be the primary customer interface for all FOS service offerings and lifecycle value propositions, ensuring superior customer experience while achieving service growth objectives. Key Responsibilities Service Business Development Identify, qualify and develop service sales opportunities within the installed base. Driving growth of service products including: Service Agreements Service Kits and spare parts Audits & Assessments Upgrades & Retrofits Performance Improvement Solutions Digital and Lifecycle Service Offerings Develop and execute strategies to increase service penetration across target industries and applications. Customer Relationship Management Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision makers, plant managers, maintenance teams and technical stakeholders. Act as the primary contact for customers covered under FOS service concepts. Ensure a superior customer experience throughout the lifecycle of Alfa Laval equipment and systems. Technical & Application Support Provide application and technical support to customers and internal sales teams. Recommend optimized service solutions based on customer operating conditions and business needs. Support troubleshooting, assessments and value-based service discussions. Service Proposal & Agreement Management Define and prepare service proposals, including scope, pricing and commercial terms. Manage service agreement renewals and expansion opportunities. Track service activities and opportunities through OneCRM. Ensure timely and accurate quotation, order handling and booking processes. Cross Functional Collaboration Work closely with: PES/FOS Capital Sales Team Engineering & Supply Team Product & Application Experts Service Operations Team Global and Regional PES Service Organizations Support project execution teams in integrating lifecycle service philosophy into new projects. Coordinate service sales activities across Sales Companies, Service Centers and Global Stakeholders. Installed Base Development Maintain and improve installed base quality and documentation. Develop lifecycle plans for key customers and critical equipment. Ensure customer asset visibility for future service opportunities. Market Intelligence Monitor market trends, competitor activities and customer requirements. Identify emerging service opportunities and value-added offerings. Support development of new service concepts for PES applications. Reporting & Governance Maintain accurate opportunity pipeline, forecasts and activity records in OneCRM. Ensure correct ALSIS booking and reporting. Provide periodic business reviews and performance updates. Training & Capability Development Support internal and customer training programs. Promote service awareness and lifecycle value selling across stakeholders. Share best practices across service and sales teams. Qualifications Education Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Instrumentation Engineering or related discipline. MBA or equivalent business qualification will be added advantage. Experience 6 to10 years of experience in Service Sales, Technical Sales, Application Engineering, Project Execution or Aftermarket Business. Experience in Food, Beverage, Brewery, Dairy, Pharmaceutical, Biotech, Edible Oil, Food Process Industries or similar sectors. Exposure to complex systems and engineered solutions preferred. Technical Knowledge Good understanding of: High-Speed Separators (HSS) Process Systems & Modules Automation, Instrumentation & Control Systems (EIA) Evaporation Systems Heat Transfer Equipment Process Engineering Applications Lifecycle Service Solutions Service Agreements and Aftermarket Business Key Competencies Business & Commercial Business Development Opportunity Hunting Commercial Acumen Value Selling Strategic Thinking Customer & Relationship Customer Focus Stakeholder Management Networking & Influencing Communication & Presentation Skills Personal Effectiveness Drive for Results, Self drive Agility & Adaptability Learning Ability Collaboration Problem Solving Ownership Mindset Other Requirements Willingness to travel extensively across customer locations PAN India Strong proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools.
