Lisas Palmengarten café & restaurant in Bochum is looking for additional service staff immediately!

Do you have experience as a server, waiter/waitress, restaurant worker or service employee and enjoy being a host? Then come join us!

Lisa's Palm Garden – for Family & Friends represents a place where family and friends love to gather. For us, this includes fresh, innovative cuisine, genuine hospitality, and service with personality – definitely not your run-of-the-mill, cookie-cutter experience.

Your tasks

• Friendly and attentive service for our guests
• Taking orders and serving food and drinks
• Preparation and follow-up of the restaurant and service area
• Cashiering and billing
• Ensuring a smooth service process
• Compliance with applicable hygiene regulations
• After careful training, the role of responsible shift supervisor with independent coordination of the service process is also planned.

You enjoy working with people, are attentive and friendly, and know what constitutes good service in the hospitality industry. Even when things get hectic, you keep a cool head, pitch in, and enjoy working as part of a team.

You should bring this with you

• Professional experience in the catering industry, ideally in restaurant or café service.
• Experience as a service worker, waiter/waitress, restaurant worker, hotel worker or service employee is an advantage.
• Enjoyment of genuine hospitality and interacting with guests
• Friendly and well-groomed appearance
• Reliability, attentiveness and team spirit
• Independent, structured and responsible work ethic
• Willingness to assume responsibility in service after appropriate training.
• Basic knowledge of the applicable hygiene regulations
• A culinary education is welcome, but not a requirement – ​​practical experience, personality and the right attitude are more important to us.
• A driver's license is an advantage, but not a requirement.
