During the interviews, you will meet people from our team: your line manager of course, but also other people related to your future role. Job description
Join a leading global company specializing in advanced powder packaging equipment and integrated solutions.
We are expanding our internal service team and looking for a Service Support Engineer to strengthen our operations. Our team is responsible for preparing and executing services and upgrades for both national and international clients across Europe and the Middle East.
Your Role
As a Service Support Engineer, you will be the daily point of contact for internal and external clients regarding service and upgrade projects. You will be responsible for preparing quotes, organizing service visits, and communicating effectively with clients. Your ability to listen, ask the right questions, and analyze technical issues will be key in ensuring high-quality service.
In this role, you will collaborate with a team responsible for spare parts management, service planning, and execution. Our work environment values teamwork, involvement, and proactive communication. We operate using MS Office and an ERP system, and while the international working language is English, Dutch is primarily spoken within the team.
Responsibilities
Prepare and calculate service quotes.
Diagnose and resolve technical issues for clients.
Procure necessary materials for service and maintenance.
Process administrative tasks related to quotes and service orders.
Review and follow up on service reports.
Provide technical support to internal and external service staff.
Maintain close communication with Sales Engineers within the service area.
Support field service teams by offering additional technical information when needed.
What We Are Looking For
Education: MBO4 or HBO level with technical experience.
Experience: 4-6 years in a similar role.
Language Skills: Proficiency in English (spoken & written), Dutch is a plus.
Communication: Comfortable with phone-based communication and technical discussions.
Problem-Solving: Enjoys analyzing technical manuals and troubleshooting.
Flexibility: Adaptable and open to challenges.
Technical Affinity: Strong interest in engineering and service solutions.
Customer-Focused: Passion for supporting customers and resolving issues.
Resilience: Ability to handle peak workloads and difficult situations with a problem-solving mindset.
