Our portfolio spans power, thermal and infrastructure management products, software, and solutions, and is complemented by a network of nearly 250 service centres worldwide.  We are now looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst to join our Customer Experience, Business Support and Transformation team.  The Business Intelligence Analyst will be responsible for gathering data from Vertiv Information Systems and providing insights to help influence business decision making. The BI Analyst will use the data obtained to develop reports, identify trends and provide observations on Vertiv Service operations in a clear and concise manner. As a BI analyst you must be able to transform business data into meaningful dashboards and reports for Vertiv management and colleagues. You must be able to explain trends and provide recommendations for business improvements.  You will support your colleagues within the Customer Experience, Business Support and Transformation team with business support and transformation projects and develop reporting solutions to support existing and new processes.    Your main responsibilities as a Business Intelligence Analyst will be:   • Extraction and analysis of complex data from multiple sources to the specifications required by the business. • Developing, delivering and maintaining a suite of reports and dashboards to enable the business to meet customer demands whilst operating as effectively and efficiently as possible. • Developing a thorough understanding of business objectives and issues, interpreting these needs into the requirements of internal and external customers. • Involvement with the development, testing and deployment of new business systems across EMEA. Building specifications on the data fields from the business system where required. • Support the EMEA Service Operations team with reporting solutions, identifying trends, and providing recommendations based on data. Candidates considering this role, will benefit from experience or training in the below area’s -however comprehensive training on Vertiv products and services will be provided:  • Previous experience working as a Business Intelligence or Data Analyst  • Degree level education in a relevant area - for example Mathematics, Statistics or a scientific based subject. • Previous experience of working with business intelligence visualisation tools, preferably Power BI and Tableau.
