Description Virginia (Field-Based) Full-Time | Monday–Friday | Weekends as Needed Residential Elevators is seeking a skilled and licensed Elevator Inspector to join our growing team! You’ll be responsible for inspecting, servicing, and maintaining residential elevators to ensure compliance with NEC, ASME, and local codes. This is a field-based role with travel throughout the Virginia area. If you’re experienced, hands-on, and ready to grow with a leading company in the home elevator industry — we want to hear from you! What You'll Do: Perform elevator inspections to meet safety and code compliance Complete quality checks, service calls, and basic maintenance Travel to job sites throughout the region (some overnight travel) Work independently and with customers on-site Requirements Requirements: CET certification, Virginia Elevator Mechanic License, or NEEIP graduate (Required) Valid driver’s license and clean driving record Comfortable with heights, ladders, and confined spaces Able to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical work Basic computer skills (Salesforce, Microsoft Office a plus) Must pass background check and drug screening Preferred Experience: Residential elevator or lift inspection/service Electrical knowledge and ability to read schematics Strong communication and customer service skills About Us: Residential Elevators is the leading U.S. manufacturer of custom-built home elevators.
