Responsibilities

As a Service Tech Specialist, you will:

  • Test, calibrate, validate, and repair electronic or analytical instruments, products, and modules
  • Maintain functionality and accuracy of equipment through preventative maintenance and refurbishment
  • Work on Keysight products as well as third-party instruments
  • Perform service primarily at a Keysight site, with occasional work at customer locations
  • Interpret customer requirements and identify potential needs to ensure satisfaction
  • Evaluate assignments and determine appropriate technical actions
  • Apply analytical thinking and develop customized approaches to complex tasks
  • Solve technical problems requiring broad and deep knowledge of repair, calibration, and maintenance techniques, equipment, and processes

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Higher education degree or specialized training/certification in a relevant technical field
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
  • Typically a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
  • Extensive knowledge and skills in electronic repair, calibration, and maintenance
  • Ability to work independently and solve complex technical issues
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
