JOB SUMMARY:

This position will report to the Service Manager, and the candidate must be able to work alone or alongside a team of Service Technicians and office staff. Duties include diagnosing, repairing, servicing, installing, calibrating and/or certifying liquid measurement meters/electronic registers. Applicants who are certified under the Measurement Canada Authorized Service Provider (ASP) program are a definite asset.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Measurement Canada certified technician a definite asset
  • Have a minimum of grade 12 education with above-average math skills
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Good communication skills, verbally and electronically
  • Able to work well under supervision, as well as alone
  • Able to work well under stressful situations
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Ability to operate a computer/cell phone
  • Pass drug and alcohol tests as required
  • Submit to a federal criminal background check
  • Be able to travel (able to provide a clean driving record)

Responsibilities
  • Diagnose, repair, service, install, calibrate and/or certify liquid measurement meters and registers
  • Work with LPG, Diesel, Gasoline, Chemicals, Lube Oils, Jet A, water etc.
  • Willing to Travel extensively across Western & Northern Canada
  • Complete necessary paperwork in a timely and complete fashion with attention to detail
  • Follow company health & safety policies, complete safety inspections as required, promoting a positive safety culture
  • Wear appropriate PPE at all times
  • Maintain shop equipment and a clean work environment as required
  • Willing to work primarily outside and in extreme weather conditions
  • Comfortable with winter driving and experience pulling a trailer
