ABOUT THE ROLE:

We’re on the lookout for a qualified and motivated Service Technician to join our team. This is a field-based role where you’ll take the lead in servicing, maintaining, and repairing residential and light commercial air conditioning systems, all while ensuring safety, quality workmanship, and customer satisfaction. WHAT’S INVOLVED:

  • Carrying out scheduled and reactive service, maintenance and repairs to air conditioning systems
  • Diagnosing technical issues and providing solutions in the field
  • Completing job documentation including risk assessments, refrigerant registers and service reports
  • Supporting and mentoring apprentices
  • Maintaining professional communication with customers and internal stakeholders
  • Ensuring all work meets WH&S, customer service and trade quality standards
  • Identifying and logging quality or warranty issues as they arise
  • Participating in relevant training and staying across industry developments

YOU WILL NEED:

There are a few essential tools you will need under your belt to be successful in this role:

  • Certificate III in Electrotechnology – Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
  • Current Refrigerant Handling Licence (ARCtick)
  • Electrical Licence
  • Construction Induction (White Card)
  • Current Class C Driver’s Licence
  • Proven field experience as a qualified HVAC technician
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities
  • High attention to detail and strong communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Commitment to safety, customer focus and continuous improvement
