About the Role

As a Service Engineer, you’ll be the front line of customer support, ensuring our equipment runs safely, smoothly, and efficiently throughout its serviceable life. You’ll work hands-on across installation, commissioning, routine maintenance, and breakdown support — while also building strong relationships with customers within your territory.

This role will suit a Mechanical Fitter with Restricted Electrical License or an Electrician with strong automation and mechanical experience who thrives in a dynamic, problem-solving environment.

What You’ll Do

·       Lead safe installation support, commissioning, and reporting.

·       Provide remedial and routine maintenance, equipment audits, and customer training.

·       Diagnose and resolve breakdowns quickly and effectively.

·       Support spare parts preparation, drawings, and technical documentation.

·       Maintain accurate service reports and records.

·       Contribute to continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to enhance systems and processes.

·       Travel interstate and internationally as required to support our global customer base.

What You’ll Bring

·       Trade qualification: Cert III Engineering – Mechanical Trade OR Electrical Fitter Mechanic.

·       Strong automation and mechanical fault-finding skills (PLC I/O experience essential).

·       Ability to commission, test, and support high-speed packaging equipment.

·       A proactive, customer-focused mindset with excellent communication skills.

·       Flexibility to travel (local, interstate, and international).
