Position Overview: AutoTech Solutions is seeking an experienced, field-based Service Technician to support customers throughout the Charlotte, North Carolina region. This role services customer locations directly and plays a key role in ensuring the safety, performance, and reliability of essential automotive shop equipment. The Service Technician installs, inspects, repairs, and maintains automotive lifts, Robinair equipment, air compressors, used oil heaters, and other garage systems to ensure safe and efficient operation. This position is ideal for a mechanically skilled professional who can troubleshoot independently, manage a service territory, and provide exceptional customer-facing support. What You’ll Get: Day 1 benefits with $0 employee-only medical premium Company truck with company card for vehicle expenses Competitive hourly pay with advancement opportunities On-the-job training and continued skill development A collaborative, team-oriented environment Work that is active, impactful, and customer-focused The opportunity to grow with a rapidly expanding company What You’ll Do: Perform routine maintenance and safety inspections to prevent equipment failures Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems Service automotive lifts, Robinair equipment, air compressors, used oil heaters, and related garage equipment Ensure compliance with manufacturer standards and safety regulations Maintain detailed service documentation and reports Communicate clearly with customers regarding diagnostics and repair recommendations Represent AutoTech professionally at customer locations Manage daily service schedules and prioritize tasks efficiently Perform other duties as assigned What You Bring: At least 2 years of related experience (mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic systems) Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with tools and heavy equipment Ability to work independently in a field-based role Strong interpersonal and customer service skills Ability to manage workload and prioritize tasks effectively Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel throughout the Charlotte region Education: · High school diploma or equivalent required · Technical certification preferred Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 75 pounds Ability to sit, stand, bend, kneel, and reach for extended periods Ability to work in shop environments and outdoors Requirements
