What you will be doing day-to-day:

• You will be delivering the highest level of service to our customers when it comes to breakdowns, fault finding and servicing.
• You will be provided with the latest tools and technology to efficiently manage your days along with the support of our national coordination team and dedicated supervisors.
• No two days will be the same as you travel from customer to customer in the Brisbane region. We anticipate that you will be on the road 90% of the time.

Here is what it takes:

• Mechanical Trade Certificate (All Mechanical Trades Considered)
• Experience within fixed or mobile plant equipment, automotive or similar areas
• Current Car Licence
• Commitment to safe work practices and good communication skills.
• Ability to undergo a pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol screening and referee checks
• Full working rights in Australia

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our team at Lounge Repair Guys - Sunshine Coast. This is a casual position ( 30-40 hours per week ) based in Sunshine Coast, Queensland, where you will be responsible for providing exceptional service and repairs to our clients' lounges and other upholstered furniture.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct on-site assessments and diagnose issues with client's furniture
• Carry out repairs and refurbishments to a high standard
• Liaise with clients to understand their needs and provide customised solutions
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised work area
• Ensure all work is completed within agreed timeframes and to company standards
• Assist with the installation of new furniture as required
• Provide excellent customer service and a positive brand experience

About you

• Proven experience as a Furniture Technician or similar role
• Strong upholstery and furniture repair skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
• A valid driver's licence and your own reliable vehicle
• Flexibility to work weekends or evenings as required
