JOB REQUIREMENTS AND EXPERIENCE

• Successfully completed training in the field of electrical engineering, mechatronics or mechanics is required.
• Relevant experience in the maintenance of cranes, access systems, ladder and fall protection systems.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in the field of electrical engineering, mechatronics or mechanics
• Valid offshore training in accordance with GWO standards would be an advantage
• Electrical engineer for specified tasks or electrical engineer is desirable
• High degree of flexibility and physical fitness
• Confident use of English at level B2
• Willingness to work in a 14/14 rotation on board our service operation vessel and on the island of Heligoland

• Independently carrying out inspection and maintenance work on electrical and mechanical components of the foundations of our wind turbines and the substation platforms.
• Carrying out preparations and checking spare parts, tools and equipment.
• Maintaining general corrosion protection and the passive corrosion protection system.
• Maintaining and inspecting offshore cranes in accordance with DGUV Regulation 52 and painting the structures and foundations.
• Supporting external auditors and service providers during recurring inspections and repairs.
• Documentation of all work using electronic reporting systems (e.g. SAP, Fluix, S4 Tech)
• Independent maintenance and inspection of the ladder and fall protection systems of the wind turbines
• Installation, maintenance and inspection of the access systems located in the wind turbine
