Key Responsibilities

• Assist qualified Service Technicians with the disassembly, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance of residential and light commercial systems.
• Execute the unpacking, cleaning, mounting, and basic assembly of HVAC units and components.
• Strictly adhere to Daikin policies, quality management systems, and state-based OH&S legislative requirements under direct supervision.
• Maintain an active awareness of our Environmental Policy, ensuring proper on-site waste reduction and resource conservation.
• Keep company tools, job sites, and service vehicles clean, safe, organized, and free of hazards.

About You

To excel as a future trade professional in our team, you will bring a strong work ethic, a mechanical mindset, and the following credentials:

• Current enrollment or eligibility for enrollment in the Certificate III in Air-conditioning and Refrigeration trade qualification.
• A valid White Card (General Construction Induction) and a Trainee Refrigerant Handling Licence (or willingness to obtain via ARCtick).
• A current valid Australian Driver's License is highly preferred (provisional or open).
• Basic hands-on mechanical aptitude with hand and power tools, combined with the capacity to apply TAFE concepts to real-world tasks.
• Ability to take direction constructively, communicate clearly with colleagues and clients, and produce accurate service documentation.
• Ability to pass a standard National Police Check and Working with Children Check.
