Are you an experienced Mobile Plant Mechanic (and have worked on mobile cranes too?) We are looking for you!
On offer is a permanent role with a respected client in Canningvale.
Hours of work : Monday to Friday from 6:00 am - 5:00 pm
Overtime available sometimes during the week (no weekends or nights so you can enjoy what you like best too!)

Experience:

• Mechanical inspection: 3 years (Required

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING ON A DAILY BASIS:

• Deliver scheduled servicing and inspections of mobile plant and equipment.
• Carry out mechanical repairs and service works including but not limited to: - Hydraulics - Boom re-builds - Pneumatics - Electrical
• Maintain effective communications with all internal and external customers.
• Complete all relevant documentation as required.
• Supervise and instruct apprentices, trade assistants and sub-contractors regarding the performance of Maintenance tasks, if required.
• Represent the company in its relationships with major customers.
• Take part in training and multi-tasking

TO BE SUCCESSFUL FOR THE ROLE YOU:

Hold a Mechanical Trade Qualfication: Diesel Fitter or Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic

• Hold a valid and clean WA drivers licence (HR drivers licence preferred)
• Forklift licence and Dogging ticket desirable
• Airconditioning ticket desirable
• Experience with heavy equipment/plant, electrics and hydraulics is essential
• Self motivation and the ability to work unsupervised
• Ability to problem solve routine issuesA proven commitment to safety
• Can pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screen
