JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions.
• Cooperate with all teams and share information across the organization.
• Troubleshoot and perform repairs and modifications on the mechanical, electrical, or software aspects of equipment at customer sites.
• Assist in the start-up, checkout, installation, and testing of new equipment.
• Create reports of the customers and machines serviced that day.
• Follow all the company’s procedures.
• Instruct personnel at customer sites on the safety, proper operation, and preventative maintenance of equipment to improve efficiency of customer productivity.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Mechanical or Trade School or 4+ years of in-field experience in service and repair of applicable products may be substituted.
• 1-2 years field service experience requiring mechanical and electrical repair and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge and the ability to read and understand equipment manuals.
• Ability to use a variety of mechanical, electrical, and testing tools successfully and effectively.
• Experience with machine tool repairs (or similar)
• Ability to lift 75 pounds.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Working knowledge of computer applications including word processing, Excel spreadsheets and CAD software.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• Knowledge of 3-D CAD software. AUTOCAD
• Sheet metal and / or fabrication experience.
• Experience in training / instruction.
• Fluency in Spanish, French, or German

  Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
