ABOUT US

We’re a small, passionate, and fast-growing business specialising in the service, calibration, and repair of high-end telecoms and fibre optic equipment. We are an authorised service centre for both Sumitomo fusion splicers and Viavi test equipment, with full factory training and support - meaning we’re trusted by the manufacturers to deliver top-quality service on their behalf.
Due to high demand and a large number of equipment coming in for calibration, we’re expanding our team to keep up with growth and continue delivering the best service in the industry.
Whether you’re just starting your career or looking to dive into something new and exciting, this is a fantastic opportunity to gain a wide variety of technical skills in a supportive, hands-on environment.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

No previous experience is required — just a sharp eye for detail, a steady hand, and a willingness to learn. We’ll teach you everything else. This is a hands-on role that rewards patience, curiosity, and care.

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Is keen to learn new skills and technologies.
  • Can follow detailed instructions accurately.
  • Enjoys problem-solving and working with their hands.
  • Is organised, tidy, and takes pride in their work.
  • Works well as part of a small, collaborative team.

Bonus if you enjoy tinkering with electronics or gadgets — but not essential!

As a Service Technician, you’ll work closely with our experienced engineers to service, calibrate, and troubleshoot a wide range of telecoms and fibre optic equipment — including VIAVI test equipment, Sumitomo fusion splicers, and many other specialised tools used for installation, diagnostics, and network testing.

You’ll be:

  • Inspecting and diagnosing equipment.
  • Performing functional tests and calibrations (full training provided).
  • Learning how to strip, clean, and reassemble intricate devices.
  • Maintaining precise service records and documentation.
  • Supporting the day-to-day workflow in our busy service centre.

No two days are the same — you’ll gain exposure to a wide variety of kit and situations that keep things fresh and interesting.
