Job Description As a Service Technician, you’ll play a vital role in keeping heavy machinery and diesel-powered vehicles performing at their best. You’ll work across a range of construction equipment, including cranes and Astra trucks, with a primary focus on servicing and repairing Case, ASV, and Dynapac machinery. As the trusted expert, you’ll diagnose issues and deliver efficient, high-quality repairs. What you will do: Work on diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems with precision and expertise. Conduct inspections and services to keep equipment in top shape. Support the development of apprentices through training, mentoring Build lasting relationships by explaining repairs, providing recommendations, and delivering exceptional service. Qualifications A trade qualification as a Diesel Mechanic. Substantial hands-on diesel engine repair and maintenance experience Expertise in diagnosing and resolving complex issues across diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical components, with advanced use of diagnostic tools and software A valid Class 1 driver’s license (Class 2 WTRF is a bonus!).
