JOB DESCRIPTION

The Service Technician (HVAC) at DMS Service Ltd. will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and troubleshooting HVAC systems at various project sites in the Metro Vancouver area. The technician will ensure that all HVAC systems are operating efficiently and in compliance with industry standards and regulations. This role involves diagnosing and repairing equipment, performing routine maintenance, and collaborating with teams to ensure client specifications are met. Based in our Burnaby, BC office, this full-time position requires travel to project sites Monday to Friday.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience in HVAC
  • Red Seal/Licenses
  • Valid Driver’s License with a Clean Driver’s Abstract.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
  • Troubleshoot HVAC equipment to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, company standards, and relevant codes.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client concerns and explaining technical issues in a clear and professional manner.
  • Keep accurate records of service performed, including FLRA’s, maintenance logs and service reports.
  • Work closely with Service team to meet client specifications and deadlines.
  • Stay updated on the latest technologies, industry trends, and best practices.
  • Respond to emergency service calls as needed, ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues.
