JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Provide Exceptional Customer Service
  • Interest in understanding how things work and how to fix machines
  • Previous service and maintenance experience with any kind of plant or equipment
  • Interest in or experience with installation and commissioning of equipment
  • Knowledge of the industry is an advantage but not essential
  • Basic computer skills a must
  • Assertive attitude with a willingness to seek out and ask questions
  • Well-developed capabilities in error and problem analysis
  • Troubleshooting skills
  • Working autonomously under limited supervision

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be working in the Commercial & Industrial Laundry sector, working on machinery installs, preventative maintenance, or just trying to get a machine back up and running.
Specific laundry experience is not essential, but capital equipment or appliance experience would be looked on favourably. You will be methodical with attention to detail and may even have experience with chemical installs or large scale Industrial or Commercial work in Mining, Health Care or Facilities Management.
You will need to be reliable, have attention to detail, excellent communication and customer service skills, with a focus on time management, demonstrated planning and organising skills, knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications and the ability to work either in a team or on your own.
