Description Job Description The Service Technician IV is responsible for completing installation, service, and maintenance on various commercial HVAC systems. Must have experience with inspection, repair, and maintenance of HVAC equipment. This position requires travel as needed. Requirements Job Responsibilities (List is not inclusive) · Perform assigned HVAC maintenance and troubleshooting tasks safely in a commercial and industrial setting. · Service, diagnose and troubleshoot various commercial systems including packaged rooftops, split systems, boilers, chillers, etc. · Perform preventative maintenance and repair commercial HVAC equipment. · Provide technical support in the field to other technicians. · Obtain an NCCER Performance Evaluator credential and support learning in the field. Required Knowledge, skills, and abilities · Ability to follow and communicate instructions and directions both verbally and written. · Mastery of HVAC components and terminology. · Experience with inspection, repair, and maintenance of HVAC equipment · Experience w/ HVAC systems start-up/commissioning · Working knowledge of HVAC concepts related to leak detection, evacuation, recovery, charging, heath pumps and air quality systems, · Working knowledge of service tools and testing devices · Ability to follow and communicate instructions and directions both verbally and written. Education and Experience · High School Diploma Required. Technical school preferred. · OSHA 10 Preferred · EPA Certified · Valid Drivers’ License · Minimum 10 plus years of HVAC experience required. Physical requirements · Required to stand, walk, and sit. · Talk or hear, both in person and by telephone. · Use hand (s) and fingers to handle or feel objects or controls. · Reach with hand (s) and arm (s). · Regularly required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and lift up to 50 pounds.
