What will your role be? As a Service Technician, you will play a key role in supporting clients with the maintenance and technical service of specialized industrial machinery. This includes troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Working in a high-demand, industrial and automation-heavy environment, your job ensures minimal downtime and maximum machine efficiency for the client. This is a hands-on, client-facing role requiring strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and a proactive mindset. You’ll work independently and in coordination with internal teams to maintain high levels of service quality and equipment performance. This position follows a rotating schedule of 4 days on and 4 days off, working 12-hour night shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM. Job Description Provide on-site support for maintenance and repair of specialized industrial machines and systems Troubleshoot and diagnose issues across mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize equipment downtime Interpret and work from blueprints, drawings, and schematics to conduct repairs and modifications Analyze and repair electrical systems including 480V and control voltages Conduct hydraulic system diagnostics and perform repairs on high-pressure systems (up to 5000 PSI) Maintain clear and detailed documentation of service work and repairs Collaborate with engineering and technical support teams to resolve complex issues Ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry standards during all work Communicate effectively with clients to provide updates, recommendations, and training as needed Qualifications 5+ years of experience in machine or industrial maintenance, preferably in manufacturing or automation environments Associate degree or certification in a technical field or equivalent hands-on experience Strong ability to read and interpret technical documentation, schematics, and blueprints Solid understanding of electrical systems, including troubleshooting of 480V and low-voltage controls Proficient in hydraulic system repair, including valves, pistons, rams, and diagnostic tools Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills in high-pressure environments Strong customer service and communication skills—both written and verbal Able to work independently with minimal supervision; proactive and fast-thinking Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and safety Must be able to lift and move materials weighing up to 40 lbs.
