ABOUT OAKCREEK GOLF & TURF

Oakcreek Golf & Turf LP is a leading Western Canadian OEM distributor of commercial turf maintenance and other equipment including Toro Commercial Mowers, Yamaha Golf Cars, Kassbohrer/Pisten Bully Snowcats and Boss Snow Plow products.
Our business seeks the addition of an In-Shop Service Technician (2nd-year Apprentice or higher preferred, but not required, Automotive, Outdoor Power Equipment, Small Engine Technician) for our Calgary, Alberta Head Office location.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Reporting to the Corporate Service Manager, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Inspecting all product lines, including Toro Commercial Mowers, Yamaha Golf Cars, Pisten Bully Snowcats, etc., to detect faults and malfunctions;
  • Perform routine maintenance on all Oakcreek product lines, including, but not limited to oil and fluid changes, lubrications and other routine maintenance on equipment;
  • Installation of various Oakcreek product line accessories, including, but not limited to canopies, decks, tillers, winches, blades, etc.;
  • Perform diagnostics and determine extent of repair required on defective products due to fault or malfunction;
  • Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts, components or systems using hand and power tools;
  • Service attachments and working tools;
  • Test repaired equipment for proper performance and ensure that work meets manufacturers’ specifications;
