JOB DESCRIPTION

The major responsibilities of this role are to inspect, repair and maintain equipment distributed by PPE Solutions. The technician will service equipment by offering a complete customer experience in line with company’s values. Using his great relationship and organization skills, the technician develops his customer base, and coordinates service appointments and technical support.

RESPONSABILITIES

  • Inspect, repair, clean and maintain self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA).
  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative fit tests as per standards.
  • Manage and maintain up to date the part inventory in the company vehicle.
  • Develop and maintain good relationships with customers.
  • Offer a customer service level in line with company’s values and expectations.
  • Give support to create quotes and reports.
  • Keep a high-level of knowledge on products and fire operations by taking part on a timely manner to hands-on training sessions.
  • Always use state-of-the-heart health and safety measures.
  • Support team effort by doing other related tasks.

REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role or any relevant experience combination
  • Ability to read plans
  • Comfortable in the flexible schedule, and excellent mobility for traveling across Ontario
  • Good physical capacity
  • Driver’s licence class G with a proof of good behavior
  • Excellent capacity to solve problems
