JOB OPENING: Service Technician (Alpine) LOCATION: Mid-Atlantic / Southeast US (NY, PA, NJ, VA, WV, NC, TN) Job summary: Reporting to Service Manager, you will be responsible for the repair & troubleshooting of vehicles in our Mid-Atlantic / Southeast region for Prinoth Alpine and industrial products Job Requirements: o Provide industry leading customer service support o Troubleshoot all assigned vehicle/equipment systems both mechanical and hydraulic o Use diagnostic tools i.e. volt ohm meters, scan tools, schematics, technical documentation, laptop computer, etc. o Ensure work order accuracy and completion for jobs assigned o Perform welding/fabrication jobs when needed o Fill out work order paperwork, expense reports, and make own travel reservations o Document the correct information for warranty claims o Provide information to product support, engineering, and factory when needed Physical Requirements: o Spring and summer work schedules are typically 40 hours a week, but fall and winter work schedules will include overtime, weekends, occasional winter holidays, and on-call. o Must be able to travel through snow and inclement weather to reach a building or piece of equipment with tools and materials necessary to complete the job. o Ability to spend several nights a week on the road when necessary. o Will be required to lift, maneuver, position, remove and install heavy items. Must be physically capable of performing these tasks with assistance and alone. o Must be able to access various components located on any portion of a piece of equipment Qualifications & skills required: o Mechanical degree (High School, Technical School, or College) o 3-5 years of experience preferred on heavy equipment or a related field o Ski Industry experience a plus o Ability to self-motivate and work alone o Knowledge of Windows environment, and MS Office software. o Technical problem solving o Strong customer service attitude o Has full set of mechanics tools Travel information: Must be willing to travel frequently and spending several nights on the road when necessary. Must have a valid driver's license and passport.
